Follow the intended trail

Inspect the public page source, download the provided evidence, and read the linked publications. You do not need to access private systems, contact researchers, trespass, disclose passwords, or change your sleep. Physical travel is not required in this edition.

The interpreter is a character

The AI brief invites a clearly labeled performance as MARGIN, a frightened fictional terminal. It does not make your AI frightened, compromised, or targeted. Never give an external AI your session cookie or private evidence keys.

Take your time

There are no overnight deadlines or first-person-only rewards. You can use hints and accessible text equivalents. Camera selection is optional; image and audio analysis happens on your device. You can stop and return in the same browser during the 180-day witness session.

The parallel archive

The final team checkpoint requires one teammate to retrieve a record from the Cold Archive using Tor. Its persistent host is not yet running, so this checkpoint cannot currently be completed. Earlier progress stays saved. No onion address is currently endorsed by this site; use only the official destination shown at the parallel archive desk when it opens.
